Role Overview

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator (French Speaking) to be based at our Northampton SDC site (NN7 2FR). This role will be responsible for the smooth coordination and execution of European shipments through thorough communication with our customers and hauliers. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and ideally some previous experience working within a logistics operation. Fluency is French is a requirement for this role, as it will be primarily covering French speaking client markets.

The shift pattern for the position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00, with up to three days working from home (subject to business requirements). This is a full-time role offering a salary of £31,518.75. Please note, this is a 14-month fixed-term contract position.


Key Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of supplier warehouse and transportation activities.
• Query resolution and complaint management, providing regular communication to the customer on the status of shipments and any anticipated issues or delays.
• Conducting quality investigations as required and identify root causes for improvement.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Proactively liaising with carriers to resolve in-transit issues.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
• Monitor and report on KPIs relating to quality, service and cost, actively seeking continuous improvement opportunities.


What You Will Bring To The Role

• Fluent French language skills (written and verbal) is essential.
• Proven customer service and administration experience.
• Previous experience in a logistics role is desirable.
• Customer-focused, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, including MS Office and Excel.
