About the Role:
Supporting the WMS (Warehouse Management System) applications in the Yusen Logistics IT landscape as well as local IT infrastructure in Torun, Poland site.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
RESPONSIBILITY AREA KEY ACTIVITES
• Troubleshooting WMS related incidents.
• Translation of business process owners’ requirements into functional and technical WMS designs in line with YLPL and European guidelines.
• Configuration of the warehouse management systems.
• Liaising with WMS vendor or development teams when necessary to provide the input they need to create enhancements.
• Test functional enhancements or configuration changes.
• Performing system testing and providing support during user acceptance testing.
• Creating reports based on WMS data.
• Suggesting/recommending WMS improvements and innovation.
• Provide L1 IT Infrastructure support for the Torun branch employees.
• Act as remote hands for the infrastructure teams.

Documentation
• Technical documentation and knowledge base documents.
• Documenting business requirements

Training
• Transferring knowledge (training) business users and IT colleagues
• Investing time to build up knowledge about warehouse processes and tools.

REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor/Master degree

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• Practical experience warehouse management systems.
• Practical experience with L1 support.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Profound knowledge of warehouse processes.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Understanding about EDI and interfaces.
• Good WMS knowledge.
• Reporting, preference SSRS.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills in Polish and English, both spoken as written.
• General IT-infrastructure literacy, including Microsoft platform (Windows, Windows Server, Office 365).
