Job Description:
As a Purchase Officer, you'll be responsible for purchasing supplies and materials, negotiating with vendors, evaluating supplier performance, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
o Manage D-365 accounting program and maintain records.
o Prepare purchase orders and handle documentation.
o Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs.
o Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
o Resolve supplier issues and ensure timely delivery.
o Monitor market trends for cost-saving opportunities.
o Maintain safety protocols and ensure ISO and EHS compliance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s level of thinking, no prior procurement experience needed
• You speak Dutch & English fluently and preferably French
• You are proactive, flexible, and communicative.
• The ability to manage both small operational tasks and larger projects.
• You have a valid driver’s license (for occasional travel to other sites).
