Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Senior Accountant to ensure accurate closing, statutory compliance, and high-quality accounting for the Polish entity while implementing cluster Accounting/R2R standards and acting as the local subject-matter expert for statutory, tax, and reporting requirements.
Beyond managing day-to-day accounting activities, you will have the opportunity to influence processes, standards, and tools that support the company's future growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Independently preparing VAT returns, JPK filings, and supporting the company's ongoing tax compliance activities.
• Preparing regulatory reports and submissions for GUS and NBP.
• Participating in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Recording and maintaining accounting transactions while ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Issuing sales invoices and supporting related processes.
• Cooperating with external auditors during audits and financial statement reviews.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and helping design efficient accounting and reporting processes.
• Lead transformation initiatives focused on business processes and operating model development.
• Develop a high-level vision for how processes and operating models should work across different business areas.
• Analyze existing processes.
• Identifies local process gaps and propose improvements and support to define the desired future state.
• Supports stabilization after process or system changes.
• Transfers knowledge and provides functional guidance to accountants.
• Define endpoints, metrics and measurable business outcomes for transformation initiatives.

What You Will Bring To The Role:
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong Excel skills; D365 or other ERP system experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency optimization.
• Critical thinking and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Mindset focused on continuous process improvement and automation.
• Ability to look beyond process mapping and connect transformation activities with concrete business impact.
