The Role
We are looking for a 4PL Supply Chain Manager to be based at our Northampton SDC (NN7 2FR) site. This role involves up to three days working remotely and two days on-site (subject to business requirements). It also requires frequent European travel to visit suppliers.

As a 4PL Supply Chain Manager, you will develop and manage the Supplier Network within the Yusen Logistics Healthcare Control Tower. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 (depending on experience) per annum.

The core working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.

Key responsibilities:
- Maintain an oversight of all supplier transport and warehouse activities, under the scope of the 4PL supply chain activity.
- Ensure effective supply chain management tools are in place for key strategic suppliers across Healthcare networks, including the development of vendor rating and performance review systems.
- Develop and review supplier SLAs and ensure adherence to contractual obligations via KPI implementation and management.
- Conduct frequent formal supplier reviews both remotely face to face, using an agile and structured approach.
- Support any change projects i.e. tender results, continuous improvement, new business as required.
- Ensure all quality and compliance requirements are upheld by supplier partners, including conducting periodic audits of all Supplier Management framework SOPs.
- Promote best practice across the supplier network and challenge processes to deliver optimal outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of four Logistics Coordinators, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards.


Key Requirements:
- Proven logistics / supply chain management experience is essential.
- In-depth understanding of complex distribution networks, preferably in a 3PL/4PL pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience managing a team.
- Working knowledge and understanding of GDP.
- Good communications skills, with proven ability in managing stakeholder and customer relationships.
- Proven ability in supporting commercial negotiations.
- Problem solving and continuous improvement mind-set.
- Solid Data analysis skills (Excel to Pivot/report standard).
