About the Job:
We are currently in the process of hiring a REGIONAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER FOR THE GERMAN AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR. A Regional Key Account Manager for the German automotive sector is typically a sales professional who is responsible for managing key accounts or clients within a specific region, with a focus on the automotive industry in Germany. Their primary role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, such as automotive manufacturers, suppliers, dealerships, and other stakeholders. The function is part of Yusen’s European Business Development Headquarter.

• Define and help execute Yusen RHQs German Automotive strategy, including the Key Account Management and Development of existing and new Automotive companies based in Germany.
• Work with Yusen’s European and Global entities to ensure pan European and Global opportunities are approached holistically without any natural silo considerations.
• Achieve mutually agreed sales/business development metrics and objectives.
• Monitor activity & performance results from the German Automotive sector using Yusen’s Customer Relationship Management system.
• You will need to have clear communication skills and report monthly to the Head of Key Account Management Europe.
• You will also be required to have regular engagement with Yusen’s European and Global Automotive teams.
• Promotion of Yusen products and services internally and externally, will be an integral part of your activities.
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and solidify its presence.
• Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
• Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering.
• Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.

Required skills & qualifications.:
• Extensive knowledge of the German Automotive sector, and the supply chain demand logistics around this.
• Extensive experience in the Automotive sector (and / or) with a Logistics and Supply Chain background.
• Excellent professional network within the relevant industry companies.
• An ability to work in complex matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Self-starting personality, able to work independently.
• Excellent time management abilities.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Agile in matrix organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (Fluent in English).
