For our office in Melsele we are looking for a Pricing & Procurement Officer.

The role:
As a Pricing & Procurement Officer, you will execute our procurement vision and strategy, ensuring competitive and cost-effective solutions. You will work closely with our business development, operations, and management teams to drive profitability, improve supply chain efficiency, and enhance our commercial positioning.

Key responsibilities:
- Review and verify tender pricing to maintain competitiveness and compliance.
- Develop accessible pricing tools and schemes for enhanced visibility.
- Support market intelligence activities, providing valuable insights.
- Guide Ocean Freight Forwarding operations in adherence to the Core Carrier Program.
- Collaborate proactively on pricing opportunities with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and measure carrier performance, ensuring alignment with procurement strategy.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with global procurement standards and contracts.
- Support the development of local charges to increase competitiveness.

What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of global and local freight markets.
- Ability to drive cost savings and process efficiencies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in KPI analysis and financial acumen.
- Basic knowledge of GDP (Good Distribution Practice) is a plus.
- Passion for sustainability, technology adoption, and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent communication in Dutch & English.
