To support this, we are looking for a Head of Procurement & Pricing – Air Freight Europe to drive commercial performance, strengthen carrier partnerships and optimise pricing strategies across the region.

Your Role
As Head of Procurement & Pricing, you are responsible for securing competitive airfreight capacity and developing pricing strategies that drive profitability and growth across Europe.
You act as the key link between procurement, pricing and sales, ensuring alignment with global strategies while responding to regional market dynamics. Through strong airline partnerships, data-driven pricing and close collaboration with commercial teams, you play a central role in strengthening Yusen’s market position.

Key Responsibilities
• Secure competitive airfreight capacity and negotiate rates with airline partners
• Develop and manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and margin optimisation
• Support Sales teams with pricing and procurement input for tenders and key opportunities
• Lead pricing for regional tenders and improve win rates through analysis and follow-up
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airline carriers and partners
• Monitor KPIs (margin, cost, utilisation, performance) and drive continuous improvement

Who You Are
Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in air freight procurement, pricing or capacity management
• Strong knowledge of European air freight markets and cost structures
• Proven negotiation skills and experience working with airline carriers
• Experience in multinational, matrix organisations
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
