About the Opening:
The BI Developer will play a pivotal role in maintaining and supporting existing BI reports for the French operations (OpCo) as we transition to a regional data platform using Databricks. Key responsibilities include generating insights, maintaining robust data visualizations, and ensuring data-driven decision-making is supported across the organization. The role will shift to a more regional scope within the BI team post-transition, with continued focus on France.
ACCOUNTABILITIES and RESPONSIBILITY AREA
KEY ACTIVITES
Data & Analysis - Insights
• Analyse business requirements and deliver accurate and effective reporting and insights to drive business decisions.
• Support stakeholders to identify reporting needs and requirements.
• Plan and execute activities such as data cleansing, data migration, ETL, data modelling & mapping.
• To develop DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
BI Reporting & Maintenance:
• Support and maintain existing BI reports for France, including troubleshooting and resolution of data-related issues.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders in France to gather BI requirements and ensure alignment with regional reporting standards.
Platform Migration Support:
• Support the transition of current France BI assets to the Databricks-based regional platform.
• Ensure data quality, continuity, and relevance of reports through the migration process.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Training:
• Act as a BI consultant to YLFR OpCo, assisting users in understanding and utilizing BI tools.
• Provide training and support to business users to maximize adoption of BI solutions.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
• Maintain awareness of BI and visualization trends and bring continuous improvements to current BI practices.
• Work closely with the data engineering team to optimize and standardize reporting practices and data flows.
QUALIFICATONS
REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION
• Power BI qualification highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 18 months experience in relevant role (BI developer, data analyst etc).
• Proven experience in BI development, particularly within Power BI, SQL Server, and SSRS.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as SSIS and Lobster is a plus.
• 18+ months of experience working with relational databases and BI reporting tools.
• Supply Chain / Logistics experience desirable.
