About the Job:
We are recruiting for a TMS Application Specialist, who will manage the TMS (Transport Management System) applications in the Yusen Logistics IT landscape. The management can consist of a new implementation, problem solving, training, a change or a migration from a legacy system to the standard system.


RESPONSIBILITY AREA KEY ACTIVITES
IT
• Translation of business owners’ requirements into functional and technical TMS designs in line with Benelux and European guidelines.
• Configuration of the transport management systems.
• Liaising with TMS vendor or development teams when necessary to provide the input they need to create enhancements.
• Test functional enhancements or configuration changes.
• Performing system testing and providing support during user acceptance testing.
• Creating reports based on TMS data.
• Building interfaces to integrate Yusen TMS systems with customers and partners.
• Evaluation of new TMS versions.
• Troubleshooting incidents.
• Suggesting/recommending TMS improvements and innovation.

Documentation
• Technical documentation and knowledge base documents.
• Documenting business requirements

Training
• Transferring knowledge (training) business users and IT colleagues
• Investing time to build up knowledge about transport processes and tools.

QUALIFICATONS:
REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION: Bachelor/Master degree
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• Practical experience implementing, configuring and supporting transport management systems

REQUIRED SKILLS :
• Profound knowledge of transport processes.
• Good knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Understanding about EDI and interfaces.
• Good TMS knowledge.
• Reporting, preference Crystal reports – SSRS.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken as written.
• Project management skills.
