About the Role
Are you passionate about ethics, governance, and helping businesses operate with integrity? We are looking for a Compliance Officer to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our compliance and governance framework across Cluster North Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany).
As Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in promoting a strong compliance culture, supporting governance processes, monitoring regulatory obligations, and ensuring that global policies and standards are effectively embedded within the business. Working closely with the Head of Compliance & Governance, Legal, HR, Procurement, IT, and local management teams, you will help protect the organization while enabling sustainable business growth.
Your Responsibilities
Compliance Program Support
Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs, including:
- Code of Conduct
- Anti-bribery and anti-corruption
- Competition law compliance
- Sanctions compliance
- Whistleblowing
- Supplier due diligence
- Data protection initiatives
Governance & Policy Management
- Support governance processes and policy implementation across the cluster.
- Coordinate policy reviews, updates, and communication activities.
- Assist in maintaining governance documentation and action tracking.
- Ensure compliance-related records are accurate and up to date.
You bring:
- A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Law)
- 2–5 years of experience in compliance, legal, governance, risk management, audit, or a comparable corporate function.
- Experience working within an international or matrix organization is a strong advantage.
- A solid understanding of compliance frameworks, corporate governance principles, and internal control systems.
- Knowledge of key compliance areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, whistleblowing, sanctions, third-party due diligence, and data protection.
You are:
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
- An excellent communicator who can translate complex topics into clear and practical guidance.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.
- A person of unquestionable integrity who handles confidential information with discretion.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented, and eager to drive continuous improvement.
- Analytical and curious, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- A collaborative team player who is committed to promoting ethical business practices.
- Confident working independently while thriving in a diverse, multicultural environment.
