To support the continued growth of our Contract Logistics business, we are looking for a Solutions & Design Engineer to develop innovative warehouse and supply chain solutions for customers across Cluster East.

Your Role
As Solutions & Design Engineer, you are part of the Contract Logistics Business Development team and play a key role in shaping customer solutions for new business opportunities and contract renewals.
You analyse customer requirements, design efficient warehouse and fulfilment solutions, support RFQ processes and work closely with Sales, Operations and IT teams to deliver customer-centric and commercially viable solutions. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, methodologies and solution design processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities
• Design innovative warehousing and fulfilment solutions for new and existing customers
• Analyse customer data and translate requirements into operational solutions
• Support RFQ and tender processes by developing solution concepts, pricing inputs and proposals
• Partner with Sales, Operations and IT teams to create customer-focused solutions
• Participate in customer presentations as the solution design expert
• Support automation and innovation initiatives within warehouse operations
• Develop and improve tools, cost models and solution design methodologies
• Support implementation teams during project handovers and onboarding activities

Who You Are
• Experience within Contract Logistics, warehousing, fulfilment or 3PL environments
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical solutions
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, WMS systems and supply chain processes
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-focused with excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Passion for innovation, automation and continuous improvement
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
• Willing to travel when required
