About the Job:
We are looking to hire for an Infrastructure Manager who will be responsible to deliver qualitative infrastructure and hardware services to Yusen Germany. The IT services are delivered through a hybrid delivery model for OpCo team of infrastructure engineers (L1/L2) and for our Central RSSC IT teams (L3). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technological infrastructure in Germany. This role will involve managing and ensuring the reliable operation of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software essential for the business’s operations. The Infrastructure Manager plays a critical role in strategic planning, deployment, maintenance, and support of our organization’s IT infrastructure.

Management:
• Manages and coaches the team.
• Increases the knowledge of the team to realize team goals.
• Drives process and service improvement.
• Maintains and creates procedures in line with RSSC IT policies, acts as process owner for all matters within the responsibility area, in cooperation with the Regional IT Director
• Implements the Department(s) strategy plan(s) in line with the European IT Strategy and Business plan.
• Liaises with internal (RSSC IT)/external IT partners to deliver qualitative IT services and improve performance.
• Responsible for the OpCo IT Service Delivery part of the IT budget.

Operations:
• Supports and participates to resolve incidents – changes within agreed SLA with the team.
• Acts as first escalation point.
• Acts as Hardware-Infrastructure point of contact towards the business.
• Organizes OOH P1 standby support in collaboration with the Regional IT Director.
• Builds and maintains a resilient and flexible IT landscape with maximum uptime within approved budget.

Project:
• Takes on the role of project manager for Country IT projects.
• Supports and participates to deliver project milestones within agreed budget and timelines.

Administration:
• Manages the planning of the team.
• Approves holiday requests considering company guidelines and IT occupation.
• PDR of the team members.
• Ensures procedures, knowledge base, assets, …. are properly documented in line with departmental guidelines.
• Procures IT assets in compliance with Company approval limit matrix.

QUALIFICATONS:
REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION; Bachelor or Master degree, preferably IT oriented.

• Good knowledge of German and English. Good verbal and written proficiency in Dutch and French is a plus.
