Role Overview

We are looking to recruit an LGV Class 2 Driver to work out of our Erith Site (DA18 4AF). You will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of palletised products to retail outlets across the Southeast of England,

Working to a pre-planned schedule, you will ensure that products are delivered on time to customer premises and that all safety procedures are followed.

You’ll operate the vehicle curtains so the pallets can be safely taken off by FLT Drivers at site. You will ensure that all products are secured using internal and ratchet straps.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver products to customers safely and efficiently
- Ensure the products are loaded correctly and correct use of straps to ensure they are secure
- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Manage all documentation for each delivery accurately
- Communicate effectively with clients and depots as needed

What You Will Bring To The Role

- A full, valid driving LGV Class 2 licence
- At least 12 months' commercial LGV Class 2 driving experience
- Experience of delivering electrical items
- A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR or DG codes)
- A valid DCPC qualification
- A valid Digital Tachograph card
- Excellent communication skills
- To be customer-focused with a ‘can do’ attitude
- To be able to work within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A flexible approach to your work and the ability to start at different times if necessary
