About the Job:
We are currently seeking a professional innovate IT Solutions Architect to join our team.
As an IT Solution Architect, you will be responsible for evaluating business needs, designing and implementing IT solutions, and ensuring they align with overall business goals and technology standards. You will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and other IT professionals to deliver effective and scalable solutions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
RESPONSIBILITY AREA KEY ACTIVITES
Technology Implementation:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement IT innovative solutions.
• Develop IT processes, procedures, process flow charts and reporting requirements.
• Develop working instructions and operational processes (flow charts) and initiate and coordinate required training on business process and IT applications.
System Integration:
• Integrate disparate systems and technologies to create a unified and interconnected warehouse ecosystem, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between different components.
• Establishing systems requirements and coordinate systems integration.
• Liaise between operations and IT to ensure a seamless connection between the applications and automation flow, support functional changes, SIT’s and UAT’s.
Hardware and Software Development
• Participate in the design, prototyping, and testing of hardware and software solutions ensuring reliability, scalability, and ease of maintenance.
Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through data analysis, performance monitoring, and feedback from stakeholders, driving continuous innovation and refinement.
• Making use of the Kaizen methodology by the execution of improvement projects.
• Conduct (re-)engineering studies to make sure that continuously changing operational processes are reflected in operational and strategic calculations.
• Define and follow-up timelines to meet timelines and objectives.
• Monitor and report implementation progress.
• Ensure that business/change impacts are properly managed and communicated within the stakeholders.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
• Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and industry partners to stay abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organization.
QUALIFICATONS
REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION
• Bachelor level or equal by experience.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• A good knowledge and understanding of architectural frameworks (ie TOGAF).
• Previous experience in similar roles such as IT architect, system administrator, or technical consultant is advantageous.
• Experience in designing and implementing complex systems or applications, as well as leading technical teams.
• Skilled in the production solutions topology documentation and in keeping asset registers updated with new solutions or amendments to existing ones.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Highly developed computer skills and knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Visio, Power Point…) and supply chain applications (e.g. WMS, TMS).
• Stakeholder Management (internal and external).
COMPETENCES
• Organizational leadership, analytic mind-set, thinks pro-actively, works independent, deals with priority setting.
• Experience with process redesign, service metrics, productivity benchmarks and root cause analysis.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation and continuous learning in the field of warehouse automation and logistics.
• Interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Interacts well with others, respects other opinions and provides and shares information, uses informal relationships for support and as a resource.
• Develops relationships (external and internal), listens to, and understands needs.
• Demonstrates openness to new ideas; comes up with useful ideas to improve the way we do things.
• Effective communicator with good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analytics platforms is a plus.
