We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our great team in Wellingborough (NN8 6BS).
The position holder will support the effective running of the warehouse operation, including inbound and outbound across the Wellingborough site.

You will be expected to work Sunday to Wednesday 0800-1800.
The salary is up to £29690 per annum.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the effective running of the shift to ensure products are safely handled through all inbound and outbound processes, adhering to all company procedures to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure all goods are handled correctly to minimize damage and follow manual handling techniques to prevent injury and harm.
• Responsible for the smooth running of your designated shift, ensuring staff are briefed and managed following SOP’s and WI’s.
• Oversee employee relations procedures such as holiday authorisations to ensure a sufficient number of employees are available as required to meet operational demands, raising in a timely manner where additional staff is needed either on a temporary or permanent basis.
• Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse, including supporting other teams and shifts as necessary.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.
• Ensure all equipment checks are carried out following procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Ensure that all MHE is used appropriately, identifying and arranging relevant training to ensure there are sufficient trained employees to meet business demands.
• Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including ER procedures, such as absence and performance management, standards of behaviour, disciplinary, PDR etc, supporting with investigations and disciplinary hearings as necessary.
• Ensure that all business communications are effectively managed and shared with the team.

• Previous experience of leading a team in a fast-moving operation.

• Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage.
