Role Overview
At our offices in Naples Metropolitan Area, we are currently seeking for a dynamic and talented IT professional, to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems, WMS and TMS within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. The role takes care of the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs. The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes. This is a stand-alone position without team management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Management of the local TMS, WMS, IT and computer systems, including API and web applications development
• Support to the group IT team for aligning the local systems to the group ones
• Local network administration and configuration, IT Service Management, Application Support
• System engineering for existing and new sites: management of software and PCs queries; debugging; set-up of telematic infrastructure, as well as Wi-Fi, printer network, and the web interface for the operational side
• To understand and solve customers’ needs, or to transfer the specifications to the group IT development team when appropriate
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
What You Will Bring To The Role
• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience working in a full-round, stand-alone IT position
• Application/development skills, excellent knowledge of C#, and of ASP.NET
• Skills in API and web development
• A previous experience working with TMS and WMS
• Good knowledge of SQL servers (T-SQL) and of Visual Studio
• Knowledge of MVC and jQuery
• Knowledge of hardware, software systems and infrastructure
• Hands-on experience setting up telematic infrastructures, Wi-Fi, printer networks, and web interfaces for operations
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• English (good level – B2); Italian (native or bilingual)
• Ability to talk with customers, to analyse and understand their needs
• Dynamic and proactive person with good interpersonal skills, familiar with working in team
• Passion for innovation and willingness to learn new techniques and tools

• Gross annual salary bandwidth: if meeting all requirements for the role we can offer up to €45.000 - € 50.000.
