About IT at Yusen
Yusen Logistics is seeking a motivated Junior Pricing Coordinator to support the Air Freight Forwarding (AFF) Tender & Data Analytics team at our Schiphol/Amsterdam office during a peak business expansion period. This is a full-time, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tender management, pricing coordination, and international air freight logistics.
As part of our strategic growth initiative, the AFF team is experiencing increased tender volume and requires additional support to manage agent/network rate submissions, consolidate pricing data, and maintain quality during our busiest season (November–March).

What the role involves
• Agent Rate Coordination: Send pricing instructions and templates to designated agents; confirm receipt, track submission status, and manage follow-up cadence to meet deadlines
• Response Tracking & Chasing: Monitor daily submissions across assigned lanes; issue structured reminders and escalations to secure full agent coverage before cut-offs
• Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Review incoming quotes for completeness—lanes, validity dates, surcharges, fuel clauses, transit times, and formatting compliance; flag anomalies for the pricing lead
• Consolidation & Handover: Compile agent quotes into the master pricing workbook with version control and clean documentation; prepare for handover to tender/pricing owners
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate clarifications between agents and internal teams (pricing, procurement, operations) to resolve data gaps or commercial questions rapidly
• Documentation & Archive: Support tender platform uploads, maintain organized file records, and archive all correspondence and approvals per policy.

. Required skills & qualifications
• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a business, logistics, supply chain, or related program (preferred); or equivalent work experience in logistics
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Team player;
• Interpersonal communication skills

• Language Skills:
o Fluent English (written and verbal); confident in email, chat, and phone communication with international partners
o Dutch is a plus but not required

• Technical Skills:
o Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting, filtering, lookups, pivot tables)
o Proficiency in MS Word and MS Teams
o Strong typing and data entry skills
o Comfortable with Windows operating systems

• Soft Skills:
o Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
o Strong organizational and time management abilities
o Deadline-driven mindset with proactive follow-up discipline
o Clear written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to coordinate multiple agent threads simultaneously
o Team player with flexibility and adaptability.
