Head of Recruitment, HR – Cluster East (Europe)

To support this ambition, we are looking for a Head of Recruitment, HR for our Cluster East region.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all talent acquisition activities across multiple countries, ensuring that our recruitment practices are effective, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
You will work closely with the HR Director Cluster East, HR Business Partners, and business leaders, playing a key role in driving recruitment excellence, building strong employer branding, and delivering high-quality talent solutions across the region.
Your role
As Head of Recruitment, HR, you will combine strategic vision, operational expertise, and team leadership to ensure a strong and proactive recruitment function across Cluster East.
Your responsibilities include:
• Leading and developing a team of recruiters across the cluster
• Designing and executing recruitment strategies in line with business objectives and European HR frameworks
• Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, including selection, assessment, and hiring across all levels
• Driving proactive sourcing strategies, including talent mapping, pipelining, and digital recruitment platforms
• Strengthening Yusen Logistics’ employer brand and ensuring a positive candidate experience
• Acting as a strategic partner to business leaders and HR Business Partners on talent availability and hiring strategies
• Implementing process improvements and digital solutions to enhance recruitment efficiency
• Monitoring labor market trends and ensuring compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and data protection regulations
• Tracking and reporting key recruitment metrics to support business decision-making
What you bring
We are looking for an experienced recruitment leader with a strong track record in multi-country talent acquisition and team management.
You have:
• A relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in recruitment or HR
• 10+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR roles
• Proven experience managing multi-country recruitment activities
• Strong knowledge of labor markets, labor laws, and recruitment compliance within Europe
• Hands-on experience with modern sourcing methods, digital recruitment tools, and talent pipelines
• Professional fluency in English

• Culturally aware and able to work across multiple countries
• Able to balance strategic focus with hands-on recruitment execution
• Experienced in coaching, leading, and developing recruitment teams
