We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Administrator who will ensure the timely, accurate, and appropriate provision of administrative and operational information relating to all activities undertaken.
The role is based in our Derby Site (DE65 6BG) the working pattern for this role Monday to Friday working 09:00 17:30
The role will offer the salary of £26,280.07 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out all contract administration tasks in a timely and accurate manner, complying with all Yusen/Customer procedures and timescales
• Ensure all system requirements are maintained to achieve accurate and effective reporting
• Highlight all concerns to contract management and/or Customer as necessary, escalating as and when appropriate
• Ensure effective communication is always maintained with internal and external customers
• Ensure all stock discrepancies are investigated and reconciled in accordance with established procedures, highlighting any areas of concern in a timely manner
• Ensure that all queries are dealt with in an efficient accurate and timely manner, liaising with contract management as necessary
• Assist/prepare timely and accurate reports for management and customer as required
• Assist with cycle counting and formal stock takes in accordance with procedures
• Carry out all other duties assigned to meet the business needs as required
• Establish and maintain good customer relationships and ensure that professional and effective communication is always maintained
• Identify and recommend appropriate resolutions to customer queries or failures
• Ensure reports are completed accurately and meet all deadlines
• Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service.
• Identify and implement Kaizens, 5s principles and any other continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, and attend all relevant safety briefings and campaigns
Key Skills and Experience
• Demonstrable general administration experience working within a busy environment
• Knowledge / operational experience of warehouse management systems
• Inventory/stock control experience
• Experience of import/export documentation an advantage
• Awareness of KAIZEN principles
• Communication skills both verbal and written at all levels
• Confident, well organised, self-motivated
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines and effectively deal with and resolve problems
• Flexible and quick to adapt style to meet all requirements
