As an integral part of the Yusen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the Enterprise Architecture repository and providing business architecture expertise on change and transformation initiatives. Other responsibilities include, interpreting and contextualising the business strategy, developing specific artifacts such as business capability models and value streams, and aligning the strategic goals of the company within the wider business architecture context.

The role will offer a salary range of up to £60,000 (DOE) per annum with the opportunity to work remotely up to 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture Repository, ensuring that Business Architecture data is kept up to date.
• Support Change & Transformation initiatives through Business Architecture services and artefacts, ensuring target Business Architecture states are in line with requirements and solution designs.
• Provide insights and analysis of the Business Architecture landscape through process gap analysis, value stream analysis and capability maturity modelling.
• Support in the development and implementation of a common Business Architecture Framework across the UK business landscape.
• Mediate and facilitate communication between business requirements and the conceptual/design phases.
• Build excellent working relationships with stakeholders from various areas of the business at all levels, including business analysts and project managers, to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Effectively collaborate with the IT infrastructure owners to establish a cohesive and universally supported business IT landscape.
• Partner with Solutions Infrastructure architects and the Security team to ensure alignment between business architecture and infrastructure architecture, while ensuring compliance with security guidelines.
• Continually build on knowledge of technological advancements, providing recommendations for their utilisation to enhance the UK Yusen Business Architecture.
• Collaborate with developers to implement scalable and robust solutions.
• Ensure appropriate technology solutions are implemented that adhere to Yusen business principles.
• Establish and execute governance protocols concerning the business architecture of the UK business landscape.
• Take accountability as the gatekeeper of the UK Business Architecture.
• Proactively assess and propose enhancements to existing Business Architecture.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.
• Effectively communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Business Architecture.
• Participate as a member of the Business Architecture team and wider Change & Transformation communities.

Knowledge, skills and experience:
• Undergraduate degree or possesses equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Business Architect or Business Analyst.
• Experience in the logistics or manufacturing sector is desirable.
• Practical proficiency in Enterprise Architecture (EA) modelling languages such as Archimate and/or TOGAF, or equivalent.
• Experience of using Orbus Infinity I-Serve is highly desirable. Experience of using Ardoq, Leanix, EA Sparx or Bizz Design is also highly desirable.
• Deep Knowledge of Business Architecture and Business Analysis subject fields is highly desirable. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think conceptually and abstract. Proficient in initiating designs from a conceptual standpoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively across different organizational levels, effectively persuading others through engagement, depth of knowledge, and accessibility, the candidate is connected.
• Exhibit reliability, teamwork, and accountability, showcasing commitment.
• Proactively engage in continuous learning and problem-solving initiatives, the candidate demonstrates creativity.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
