About the Role.
A key role within our Strategic Sales Management Group, the ideal candidate will function as Regional KAM, for select German and (perhaps European) Automotive Customers, including network development and support for these customers in the Automotive Sector.
Assist in meeting the expectations of the above and contribute to business growth in line with account development objectives, global and regional.
Strategic development for any direct account ownership
RESPONSIBLE AREA and KEY ACTIVITES
Account
Development and Client management
• Provide Regional Accounts with customer-oriented service at all times relating to specific sales TARGETS.
• Plan & co-ordinate key account activities to retain and develop sustaining sales revenue.
• Participating on each local country meeting, discussion to capture real customer requirement based on real situations.
• Provide revenue and activity reporting, as required by Strategic Sales Management Group
• Problem solving and action plan when trouble cases are coming.
• Leading RFQ process with respective internal & external stakeholders including technical concept evaluation.
Strategic Account Planning
• Display skills in Regional Account analysis to ensure that all customer requirements are being fulfilled.
• Formulate Account Development Plan that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business prospects and maximizes growth within the existing Key accounts
Cross Functional Collaboration
• Coordinate and work closely with various departments within/without own region, so that customer’s expectations are met.
• Develop a working relationship with the relevant support sections e.g., CP/ BP to ensure they are kept up to date with all issues relating to the key accounts.
• Escalation to GM and/or BU related to service failure, operation issues, and monitoring of the PDCA and improvement.
• Work together to strategically improve the overall competitive advantage of the customer.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION
• University degree, preferably in Logistics, Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant degree.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years of Key Account Management experience in logistics industry with exposure in provide logistics solutions design or comparable
REQUIRED SKILLS :
• Excellence knowledge of the logistics industry (freight forwarding, contract logistics, land transportation, etc.)
• Demonstrated excellence skill of strategic and tactics problem solving.
• Proficiency in financial and pricing analysis
• Work well under pressure and commit to deadlines.
• Able to work independently and within team and across teams.
• Able to demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, adaptability, and initiative.
• Able to manage well on both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven strength in conceptual thinking and designing.
• Excellent people, communications & negotiation skills and intuitive to customer’s business
• Fluent German and English, other languages are a plus.
• Proven sales successes on new business generating and retention prowess.
