Yusen Logistics Benelux has branches in The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Sweden. We have about 1000 colleagues working on these locations. We are looking for a new Systems & Processes Specialist to join our team.
As a Systems & Processes Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Land Transport operations. Your responsibilities will include:
• Driving Process Standardization and Quality: Implement and improve process standards to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with global and local regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance productivity and profitability across operational functions.
• Optimizing Back-Office Tasks: Streamline and centralize back-office tasks wherever possible, ensuring the most efficient setup for existing Transport Management Systems (TMS) and tools.
• New Tools and Systems: Actively work on integrating upcoming new TMS and necessary tools, ensuring they are aligned with operational needs.
• Business Implementation Support: Accompany and review business implementation processes to ensure they meet operational standards and objectives.
• Process Automation and Integration: Identify opportunities for local process automation and business partner integration, supporting implementation and deployment.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who meets the following criteria:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in the logistics or transportation industry, with hands-on experience in road transport operations.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to engineer operational processes, analyze data, and structure solutions to logistics challenges.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and supply chain applications (e.g., WMS, TMS).
• Communication Skills: Effective communicator with excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).
• Personal Attributes: Commercially minded, proactive, flexible, and capable of adapting to shifting priorities. You should also have a knack for building relationships and resolving conflicts.
