We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor (nights) to join our highly dedicated team based in Findern, Derby (DE65 6BG).
This is a key operational role, responsible for supporting the Site Manager and wider team in the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse. The successful candidate will oversee both inbound and outbound activity across the Derby site, ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and service. This position offers a salary of £40,151.13 and operates onsite, working Sunday to Friday mornings (22:00–06:30).

Main Responsibilities
• Plan and allocate resources across the warehouse in line with customer demand and volume.
• Lead and support a team of 22 direct reports, including 2 Section Leaders.
• Oversee safe handling of products throughout all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure goods are handled correctly to minimise damage and that manual handling guidelines are followed.
• Carry out additional reasonable tasks to support the effective running of the warehouse.
• Communicate any issues, concerns, or deviations from instructions to the Site Manager promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements, and escalate concerns where necessary.
• Deliver health and safety briefings to the warehouse team when required.
• Monitor equipment checks and ensure follow up actions are completed.
• Report near misses, incidents, and accidents in line with company processes.
• Complete disciplinary and grievance meeting in line with company policy.
Key Skills & Experience
• Strong leadership skills, with experience of being able to organise and lead a shift.
• Able to follow and deliver company procedures.
• Previous experience managing a white goods operation is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively within both the immediate team and wider operation.
• Flexibility to meet operational needs.
• Experience with WMS systems.
• Previous warehouse supervisory experience is essential.
• Awareness of manual handling techniques is beneficial.
• MHE licence is beneficial.
• Good standard of general education, with strong written and verbal English skills.
• Confident in literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in MS systems including Excel and Outlook.
