We are currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to be based at our Wolverton site (MK12 5PT).
The position does not entail fixed working hours; however, it requires flexibility and the capability to be available as required, including outside the standard hours of 09:00 to 17:00. Travel between sites will also be required.
As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will ensure exceptional service and a strong health and safety culture through efficient operations, team management, and meeting targets. You will collaborate with the General Manager to align client relationships and activities with organisational goals.

Additional key tasks:
• Manage all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes in receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance productivity and support profit and loss (P&L) targets.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent performance and identify productivity enhancements.
• Address out-of-hours customer inquiries effectively.
• Oversee site facilities and ensure compliance with management policies.
• Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture and lead by example.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and assess employee training needs.
• Ensure compliance with employee relations procedures and timely performance development reviews (PDRs).
• Maintain adherence to quality standards and manage quality control processes.
• Resolve non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and seek opportunities for operational improvements.
Key requirements
• A robust educational background, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of both written and verbal English.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven experience in warehouse management.
• Prior experience in a leadership role, overseeing a team.
• Demonstrated capability in enhancing operational efficiencies.
• Strong skills in managing customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP.
• Knowledge of KAIZEN principles.
• A flexible and proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong decision-making capabilities.
