As Head of QSHS for Cluster North, you will lead the Quality, Safety, Health & Sustainability department and ensure that all QSHS programs and projects align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. You will develop and implement policies and processes, manage a team of QSHS professionals, and work closely with other department leaders to prioritize and deliver key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Quality Management: Implement the QSHS strategy in line with the company’s overall business strategy while mitigating risks; Oversee local and global QSHS policies and procedures; Develop communication strategies to advocate QSHS across the organization; Ensure legal compliance and maintain positive engagement with government authorities; Oversee physical security, as well as the transport and storage of hazardous goods.
- Health Care Quality Assurance: Monitor audits and documentation related to GDP, GMP, ISO13485, and MDR; Independently manage healthcare compliance programs and encourage operational teams to follow guidelines.
- Financial Reporting & Contract Management: Track and manage the QSHS budget for Cluster North; Present QSHS updates and risk management insights to executives, providing recommendations for prioritization.
- Continuous Improvement: Standardize processes and share best practices across the region; Recommend process adjustments when outcomes are unsatisfactory and develop alternative solutions when needed.
- Team Management: Lead, coach, and integrate the QSHS team; Drive process improvement initiatives and act as process owner in collaboration with the Managing Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a QSHS-related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant managerial experience.
- Extensive experience in QSHE and Health Care Quality Assurance (GDP/GMP/ISO13485).
- Knowledge of logistics and freight forwarding.
- Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working with senior management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics.
