We are looking for an Export FTD (Freight Track Department) Coordinator to based at the Toyota site.
The successful candidate will monitor and manage daily abnormality across the customers logistics pipeline. The role will follow the following rotational shift pattern: 5am-2pm, 1pm-10pm and 9pm-6am (hour paid break) Monday to Friday and will offer a salary of £22,835.76 per annum.
Key responsibilities
1. Operational
• To answer incoming telephone calls from Logistics Partner’s into the Freight Track Dept. and following Stop Call Wait procedures.
• Check completed manifest paperwork for 100% accuracy against planned parts collection data.
• Ensure all Customer reports are completed accurately and distributed on time.
• Accurately enter data into the Freight Tracking system, monitor and update as required.
• Adhere to the customers escalation process in a timely manner.
• Filing load sheets according to route and manufacturing plant destination.
• Liaise with all LP’s and log all delays and abnormalities into FTS.
• Liaise with all EMC’s and Xdocks regards delays and freight abnormalities.
2. Customer Service
• Respond to and resolve customer issues and queries quickly without disruption, escalating any potential issues to your line manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism with both internal and external customers, becoming a trusted first point of contact.
3. Health & Safety/ Continuous Improvement
• Ensure compliance in relation to all Health & Safety aspects of the operation and continuously improve where possible.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve process or procedures to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of the business, the role or customer service
Key Requirements
• Experience in a busy office advantageous.
• Experience of dealing with drivers advantageous.
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Ability to make decisions in absence of upper management.
• Good communication skills
• Good IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Team player.
• Flexible – Overtime / holiday & sickness cover
• Ability to work unsupervised if required.
• Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
