As a Business Development Manager, your mission is to expand Yusen Logistics market presence in the Benelux region by identifying and securing new business opportunities. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our growth strategy and building lasting relationships with key clients.

Tasks and responsibilities:
1/ Prospecting and Lead generation
• Identify and engage new business opportunities across the Benelux region through various channels. (Including being YL ambassadors at events)
• Develop and execute a targeted business development plan that aligns with company objectives and drives sustainable growth
2/ RFQ Handling
• Project management of RFQ process to lead the creation of tailored solutions that meet and exceed customer needs, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure every detail aligns with client requirements.
3/ Solutions design and product development:
• Own ABC model approvals.
• Establish the required project team
• Facilitate customer Q&A meetings session for all BU’s to design solution
• Develop quantified value propositions
• Business priorities and developments alignment
4/ Implementation support
• Transition agreement to implementation team after business award.
Who are we looking for:
• Bachelor level or equal by experience, Master preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience within Contract Logistics
• Strong sales track record. Strong business and financial acumen
• Business Developer hunter.
• Effective communicator & negotiator, written & spoken in English, Dutch/French
