We are currently recruiting two Transport Clerks to join our team at our newly established site in Basingstoke and support the effective operation of our warehouse for our key Howdens contract.

The Role
As a Transport Clerk, you will provide key administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of activities relating to our Howdens contract.
Providing excellent service to the customer, you will maintain effective communications and act as the key customer contact for order requests and processing.
You will co-ordinate customer deliveries and liaise with drivers in a prompt and efficient manner, ensuring customer requests are responded to and resolved.
About You
To be considered as a Transport Clerk, you will need:
- Experience in a transport and/or warehouse environment
- The proven ability to interface with customers
- Good organisational skills and a detail-oriented approach
- The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in IT, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
This is a permanent, full-time role, working rotating shifts between a 6am and a 1pm start.
