We are looking for an Applications Specialist to be based at our site in Grange Park, Northampton (working remotely up to 4 days per week). The successful candidate will support the development of bespoke and 3rd party software applications for all business areas. They will optimise and automate manual processes to allow business to grow with our current teams and improve our performance.

1. Solution Design
a. Deliver services and solutions using various software packages
b. Develop solutions which follow the Yusen Logistics best practice guidelines.
c. Provide relevant documentation to support the ALM and ensure projects delivered to specification, timescales and costs
2. Stakeholder Management
a. Establish relationships with key stakeholders that meets each parties needs and agreed outcomes.
b. Identify and where possible, understand stakeholder issues, interests, aspirations, and concerns to better define what is of a high priority
c. Effectively manage the expectations of stakeholders by being clear about what is negotiable and what is set in stone.
Key requirements:
• Analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise scale apps.
• Experience developing new PowerApps model and canvas driven apps as well as enhancing existing apps would be desirable
• Experience in data modelling, data normalisation and building relational database applications
• At ease working under pressure to cost and time deadlines
• Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources
• Excellent customer service skills
• High standard of document production
• Team player capable of working within a team.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Flexible and proactive approach
• Excellent communication skills at all levels (written and verbal)
• Attention to detail and ability to break down complexities to manageable and actionable tasks
